Juniper Reservoir

Southeastern Oregon is feeling the effects of lack of rain. Juniper Reservoir was a great spot to fish at one time, but now it is shrinking. I did not see anyone out there fishing in the time we have been here. We asked about swimming in it and the park owner advised she would not swim in it, but after a second thought told us to atleast drive out and check it out. The water was so low, I did not even see an area where you could get to the reservoir.

We were out for a drive today and took a picture of the Welcome to California sign, then turned around and too a picture of the Welcome to Oregon sign as we headed back into Oregon.
