Texas really is pretty

Once you get out of the big cities, Texas landscape really is beautiful.

At a crossroad?

It was an absolutely beautiful day to go for a ride. The temps were in the low 80's and skies were clear. Our stay in Texas is drawing to an end, we leave April 8th. Looking forward to coming back next winter.

Everything is bigger in Texas and this steers horns is no exception.

Time Capsule

I was walking back to the car and saw this. I had to have a picture of it. I have to admit this is the first time capsule I have seen.

Spring has sprung in Texas

I love flowers and have really enjoyed taking pictures of the variety of flowers I have seen. I am excited about learning how to take really nice pictures of them.

Texas is the Lone Star State and you see the star on most buildings and a lot of homes in Texas.

I stopped in at a business called Creative Thread. They had the most beautiful fabrics. I am going to attempt making my first quilt all by hand. I purchased a quilt kit which is all the fabric for the quilt precut and ready to assemble. I purchased a couple of Picture Piecing kits while at the store and a quilting magazine.
    I also have a couple of embroidery projects that will be quilted into blankets upon completion. I am excited about my down time projects.
